These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the WireSift Research website, newsletter, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by WireSift Technology Inc, a British Columbia corporation (“WireSift”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing the Service, subscribing to the newsletter, or otherwise interacting with WireSift Research, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.
The Service
WireSift Research publishes independent research, commentary, and analysis on finance, investing, and the economy through this website and an email newsletter. Access to most content is currently provided free of charge. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
Not investment advice
The Service is provided for general informational and editorial purposes only and does not constitute investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice, nor a recommendation, offer, or solicitation to buy or sell any security or financial instrument. Subscriptions and communications
When you subscribe to the newsletter, you consent to receive editorial emails from WireSift Research at the address you provide. You may unsubscribe at any time using the one-click link in every email. We may also send transactional messages relating to your subscription (for example, confirmation or account-related notices).
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation;

All content published on the Service — including articles, charts, datasets, graphics, code, design, and the WireSift name and logo — is owned by WireSift Technology Inc or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may read, share excerpts (with attribution and a link back), and link to our content for personal, non-commercial use. Republishing, redistributing, or creating derivative works from our content in whole or in substantial part requires our prior written permission. Quotations of up to roughly 200 words with clear attribution and a link to the original are generally welcome under fair dealing / fair use principles.

The Service may include links to third-party websites, data sources, or services. We provide these for convenience and reference only. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party.
User feedback

Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WireSift Technology Inc, its directors, officers, employees, contributors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or investment value, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service or any content, whether based in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In any event, our aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WireSift Technology Inc and its directors, officers, employees, contributors, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, or unsubscribe you from the newsletter, at any time and for any reason, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and unsubscribe at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will continue to apply.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where the changes are material, take reasonable steps to notify subscribers. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Vancouver, British Columbia for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection law.
Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and WireSift regarding the Service.
